A fast review of a fast paced and potentially seizure inducing game that is surprisingly addictive for what it is.
The first few times you tap play, you’ll probably watch the square fall off the bottom of the screen while you puzzle over what you were supposed to do. Then you’ll begin tapping the screen in a frantic attempt to accomplish SOMETHING with the game.
Keep the square on screen by tapping to bounce the square. The longer you press, the higher it goes. How long can you keep the square on screen?
This game is fast paced. The square quickly falls for the bottom of the screen as soon as the game starts. Tap quickly if you want to keep it in play. You say you tapped but still lost? That bar that is constantly changing size, position, and color is off limits. You lose if the square leaves the screen off of the top or bottom and you lose if you tap while the square is behind a colored bar. Simple concept… Harder than one would think to be good at it.
Like I said, if you have a seizure disorder this is probably not your game. The bright, rapidly changing colors of the ever morphing enemy bar may give you a headache if you play for any significant length of time. All of that said, I find myself playing the game more often than I thought. I’m not sure if I play out of frustration at not being able to beat my high score of only 18 or if I really enjoy playing the game for 2 or 3 minutes at a time when I know that I don’t have much time and don’t want to get into an in-depth game. I haven’t deleted the game yet. So maybe you should try it out and see if you can beat 18. Let me know how it goes in the comments.
